4-19-08     Louise is on her way to speak at a women's missionary conference in Japan. Leander called last nite and said that this "bug" they've been fighting for the past month, seemed to really hit her again in the Anchorage airport. We need to really uphold her and the message the Lord has lain on her heart to present. Pray that the Holy Spirit infuses her w/ strength and grace to meet the heavy demands of such an event, and that the enemy is unable to lessen the impact of the Word of God, or equally so--the refreshment and encouragement Louise is so burdened to share with these precious sisters in the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We also need to continue to remember Leander as he has had to stay home this time, due to his own health issues. These folks are such treasures, may God continue to meet out His grace and mercy to them in this season of their lives. ...until He comes!!   ...sandy*_*     Rms 15:13!

Dear family.

Just want to let you know, today was so much better than yesterday.    I still have the pain in my back that will just take time.  It must be a very bad sprain in my lower back.  When I hit that speed bump it just simply took every thing out of me.  Took my breath, burned bad, felt sick in my stomach, felt like my back just smashed against itself.  Then I needed help with Dad and Paget letting me hold onto them.  There was no sign and the bumps are not painted.  They haven't been there long and of course this was my first time to drive it.  I was taking a mother with her new baby, (Susan Alek) her mother and two sisters.  Fortunately they are okay.  Thank God for that.  I guess I just tensed as I tried to slow on top the bump.  It's been a week Tuesday.  Thank all of you for your prayers and all of those you have told and have prayed.  It is going to take time though.

I have just been drinking lots of water, juice all kinds even sourer kraut juice,  and ate some vanilla yogurt.  I haven't even wanted coffee.   I keep putting ice on my back.  It helps a lot. Hopefully tomorrow it will be even better.

---Adelaide

4-15-08   Jeanette just wanted to update you on the Gardners.  Adelaide saw a physical therapist who said she has nothing broken.  The therapist gently manipulated her pelvis (both sides) in a rotating manner, gave her some exercises to do, and said by the end of this week she should be good as new.  That’s good news.  The Dr heard some fluid in Frank's  lungs, gave him some pills to get rid of the fluid.  His cough is much better.  Only 4 more weeks until they leave for the States. Continue to pray for them.
4-12-08   Please pray for Frank & Adelaide Gardner. Adelaide is experiencing severe back pain & is seeking medical treatment. Frank has been having respiratory problems. They need our continued prayer support.
